I'm trying to change the gnus default mechanism of saving sent
mails in monthly gcc folders, to all sent mails in one folder called
"2015". So I now have this in my gnus setup[fn:1]

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
(setq gnus-message-archive-group "2015")
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

and it is saving them to

╭────
│ U 10: nnfolder+archive:sent.2015-01
╰────

How then can I just get it to "2015" only please?

Thanks
Sharon

Maybe you need to also set gnus-message-archive-method and possibly
gnus-update-message-archive-method? These are the variables I also have
changed to save outgoing messages somewhere specific.
